Privacy policy

This policy explains how personal data is handled on meypidevs.com under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD). The rest of the owner’s details are in the legal notice.
2. What data we handle
Only what you give us and what is essential to protect the form:
- Contact form: your name, your email, what you need and, if you choose one, your approximate budget; plus the page and the form you write from.
- Form security: a fingerprint of your IP address and your email, used only to slow down repeated submissions and never stored with your message.
- Email, phone and WhatsApp: whatever you tell us if you email or call us directly.
Your name, your email and what you need are required for us to reply: without them we cannot handle your enquiry.
Only if you accept it in the cookie notice does the website load Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure how it is used and which ads bring enquiries. The cookie policy explains it.
If you accept analytics cookies, the form also stores where you first came from in that tab: the landing page, the search engine or referring website (without the full address) and the campaign, if any.
When you send an enquiry, and only with what you have accepted, we tell Google Analytics and Meta that one has arrived, without your name, email or message. Meta also receives your IP address and browser details, to match the enquiry with its ads.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To protect the form from spam, fraud and abuse.
- To manage the project if you hire our services.
- Measure how the website is used and measure which ads bring enquiries, only if you accept it.
We do not build profiles or make automated decisions with legal effects on you.
4. Legal basis
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): when you tick the box and send the form. You can withdraw it at any time, without affecting anything processed before.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): protecting the form from spam and abuse with proportionate measures.
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): when you hire a service, to prepare and deliver it.
- Consent for measurement cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22(2) LSSI): when you accept them in the notice. You can withdraw it at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
5. How long we keep it
- Form record: stored encrypted and deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Emails and WhatsApp messages: those needed to handle your enquiry, for up to 12 months, unless a contract begins or a legal obligation requires us to keep them.
- Measurement data, only if you accept cookies: Google Analytics keeps it for 14 months, the period we have set in its settings; Microsoft Clarity keeps session recordings for 30 days, and clicks and heatmaps for 9 months; Google Ads, as set out in Google’s data retention policy; and Meta, for up to two years. How long each cookie lasts is in the cookie policy.
- Clients: for the duration of the relationship and then for the legal periods: six years for business records (Article 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code); tax claims generally become time-barred after four years (Article 66 of the Spanish General Tax Law).
6. Who else handles it

We do not sell your data or share it with anyone for other purposes.
7. International transfers
Some providers operate from the United States or through global networks. These transfers are covered by GDPR safeguards: the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified companies and, where relevant, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, with additional measures where needed.
8. Your rights
You can exercise these rights at any time:
- Access: find out what data about you we handle.
- Rectification: correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure: ask us to delete it when it is no longer needed.
- Objection: object to us processing it.
- Restriction: ask us to limit its processing in certain cases.
- Portability: receive it in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting anything processed before.
To exercise them, email us at info@meypidevs.com with your name and the right you wish to exercise. We will only ask for more information to confirm your identity when it is necessary and proportionate.
If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
9. Cookies
This website uses the cookie that remembers your language and a security cookie from Cloudflare, stores your choice in the cookie notice and, only if you accept them, uses measurement cookies. The cookie policy explains it.
